Specialized Sports

Sports like gymnastics, martial arts and dance, that push the body past the normal limits of training create an abnormal amount of stress on the body that creates many different types of imbalances that will eventually cause injury. These sports, as well as many others, need to focus on proper training and injury prevention to allow for a long, injury-free lifestyle in their sport and thereafter.

We have created a program for both the students and the instructors to educate them and create a fitness program so they can help indentify and correct these muscle imbalances, postural deviations, and arthokinematic dysfunctions to improve performance and to prevent injury in their sport and everyday living.  These programs can be taught to a few people or to large groups.
